The Modern Day woman shoulders alot in these streets! So many of us are bosses, wives, moms, daughters, sisters, and friends that take care of everything & everybody besides ourselves. And every wonderwoman, supermom & boss chic needs a sanctuary where she can unplug, create, rejuvenate, retreat, meditate and do whatever makes her heart happy! So if you don’t have one, get yourself a she-shed, a babe cave, a crafting corner or in my case...a pink palace - blush pink of course lol.
I designed this space to reflect who I am, what I love, and all of the things that make me happy. I chose blush & white, with gold, rose gold accents and acrylic accents...the blush palette sparks peace & creativity when I open my office door.
Soooo, if you know me, you know I have this thing with pink...and vintage...and all things girlie and feminine! This is reflected in every area of my pink palace. My desk is a $40 feminine 1950’s vintage flea market find - I added plexi-glass to my desktop to make it indestructible. One of my most favorite things is my 1956 royal deluxe pink typewriter. It is in mint condition, works beautifully & it is one of my most prized possessions. My vintage barbie prints, my actual pointe shoes, vintage pink phone, pictures of my mom & I (I get my creative streak from her), and my wedding pics give me all the happy nostalgic feels. Vintage books, feminine collectibles on my acrylic shelves, and gifting wall all inspire me. Now let’s talk about the things you can use as office inspo & purchase. My perfect blush office chair is from Home Goods - my happy place. My guest chairs & rug are from Target. And can we get into this chandelier for a moment? It’s one of my most favorite things in my sanctuary - it’s from Birchlane, another happy place. Let’s not forget the blush tab top panels with the tulle overlay from Wayfair...I mean can you get more feminine than those?
There are so many special little details in my office that me feel 100% myself in this room that I can’t possibly go through them all in one post but this gives you a taste until we do a full office tour!
